Brookline Fire - Rescue
Summer burn rules are now in effect. Permits are required for all outside fires.
A seasonal burn permit is issued for a small
controlled fire, such as a camp or cooking fire, no greater than 2’ in
diameter contained within a ring of fire resistive material or in a
portable fireplace such as a chimanea or fire bowl. The fire must be at
least 25’ away from any structure. Brush and wood cannot exceed 5” in
diameter or 2’ in length.
Seasonal permit holders must contact Hollis Communications prior to
burning at 465-3636
